Hi there! I'm Aparna--highschool student, aspiring robotics engineer, and full-time nerd.

I've always had always been interested in all things STEM, but I only discovered my passion for engineering at a summer camp when in the second grade. Here, I was introduced to FIRST’s FLL robotics. From there, my love for robotics truly blossomed. I started an FLL team in 6th grade and have been competing in FIRST ever since!
Currently, I am captain, lead programmer, and head of documentation for an all-girls, FTC robotics team.
I am working with various organizations to promote the girls in STEM message among students around the globe, and am excited to say that I helped start the A2Z Robotics program under the prestigious A2Z Mentoring program.
I consider myself very lucky to have so many wonderful resources and so many people to encourage me throughout my journey.
With this blog, I hope to not only share my love for STEM with girls everywhere, but to give women an avenue to share their experiences and excitement for STEM as well.
